Terms of Service

Last updated November 4, 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you and Modlific LLC, a Utah company that runs LifeRepeat ("we" or "us"). By creating an account, buying anything or adding content, you agree to them. Questions go to support@modlific.com.

Please read sections 5, 6, 12 and 14 closely. They explain what "lifetime" means, what happens if LifeRepeat ever closes, the limits on our liability, and how disputes are resolved, including binding arbitration and a class action waiver.

1. Your account

You must be at least 18 to create an account. You are responsible for keeping it secure and for what happens under it.

2. Your content

What you add stays yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, adapt and display it as needed to run your memorial, provide the features you use, and fulfill your orders. That includes making compressed copies. The license ends when the content is deleted, except for routine backups and copies others have already saved. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you add, including photos of other people, and that you have a genuine connection to the person or pet being remembered. You alone are responsible for your content, including anything you choose to share about living people and children.

3. What is not allowed

Do not create a memorial you have no connection to, or for someone who is alive without their consent. Do not impersonate anyone, harass anyone, or post anything unlawful, hateful, or infringing, or anything that sexualizes minors. We may review, remove or restrict content and accounts at our discretion, with or without notice, and we are not obliged to monitor what people post.

4. Family disagreements

Memorials can be sensitive, and relatives may disagree about them. We can't judge family disputes or determine who has the right to speak for someone. If there is a dispute, we may restrict, hide or remove a memorial, or transfer its management, or we may ask for documentation or a court order. Those decisions are ours, and we are not liable for them.

5. What "lifetime" means

A "lifetime" purchase is a one-time payment with no renewal fees. It runs for the operating life of the LifeRepeat service. It does not mean forever, for your lifetime, or for any guaranteed number of years. It covers the storage allowance and features described when you bought it, for as long as we offer the service.

To keep the service sustainable, we may:

Free pages are offered at our discretion. We may limit or end free pages, with notice to the owner where we can.

6. If LifeRepeat closes

We may discontinue the service in whole or in part. If we decide to shut down, we will try in good faith to give at least 90 days' notice by email and on the site, and to let you download your memorial's photos, videos and letters during that time. Notice goes to the email on your account, so please keep it current. If circumstances beyond our control, such as insolvency, prevent this, we will do what is reasonably possible.

After the service ends, memorial pages and QR codes may stop working. If we discontinue the service within 3 years after you bought a lifetime page or extra storage, we will refund a pro-rata share of what you paid for those digital items, based on the time remaining in that 3-year period, unless insolvency or a similar legal process prevents it. Physical items are not included. After 3 years, and except where the law requires otherwise, discontinuing the service does not entitle you to a refund.

7. Purchases and refunds

Prices are shown before you buy, and applicable taxes may be added. Digital purchases such as lifetime pages and storage are delivered right away and are non-refundable, unless section 6 or the law provides otherwise, or we are unable to provide what you bought when you bought it. If you think something is wrong, please contact us before disputing a charge.

8. Plaques, books and other physical items

Physical items are made to order. If one arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 30 days for a replacement. Plaques also carry a 5-year limited warranty from delivery against material or weather failure under normal use. It covers a replacement plaque only, not installation costs, damage to any monument, theft or vandalism.

You are responsible for getting any permission needed to install a plaque, including from cemeteries and monument owners, and for installing it properly. A QR code only works while its memorial page is available and while it can be scanned, and it needs a phone and an internet connection.

9. AI features

AI features can make mistakes and may produce inaccurate or upsetting results. AI answers on a memorial are generated from that page's content. They are not the words, thoughts or wishes of the person or pet remembered, and they are not professional, medical, legal or grief advice. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional. In the US, you can call or text 988 at any time.

10. Copyright complaints

We respond to valid notices of copyright infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act and may remove content and close the accounts of repeat infringers. Send notices to support@modlific.com with your contact details, the work, where the material appears, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and your signature. To report anything else on a memorial, use the same address.

11. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," with all faults. To the fullest extent the law allows, Modlific LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees and providers disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that your content will never be lost or damaged.

12. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Modlific LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost content or emotional distress, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $50. Some places don't allow certain limits, so these apply only as far as the law permits.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Modlific LLC and its affiliates, officers and employees from claims and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your installation of a plaque, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

14. Disputes, arbitration and class action waiver

Please contact us first and try to resolve any dispute informally for at least 30 days. If that fails, disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Utah County, Utah, or remotely where the rules allow. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. You and we each give up the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action or other representative proceeding. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable, this arbitration section is void and the dispute goes to the courts named below.

15. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time, which removes its memorials and stored files, and that can't be undone. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, without a refund. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including 2, 6 and 11 through 16.

16. General

Utah law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any court proceedings will take place in the state or federal courts in Utah County, Utah. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may assign these terms, including to a buyer or successor of the service, and you may not assign them without our consent. These terms are the entire agreement between us on this subject.

17. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will give notice by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use LifeRepeat after that means you accept the change. If you don't agree, stop using the service and download what you want to keep.
